Remote Monitoring and Management Tools dashboard

The Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) Tools dashboard enables you to monitor traffic from remote access, monitoring, and management software active in your environment. Each chart contains visualizations of traffic sent to and from RMM tools such as AnyDesk, ConnectWise ScreenConnect, and Splashtop and remote protocols such as Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and Remote Framebuffer (RFB).

The filters at the top of the dashboard enable you to display metrics for each connected site in your environment and to drill down on traffic to and from a specific client, server, or internal IP address.

The RMM Tools dashboard is a built-in, system dashboard that you cannot edit, delete, or add to a shared collection. However, you can copy a chart from the RMM Tools dashboard and add it to a custom dashboard, or you can make a copy of the dashboard and edit it to monitor metrics that are relevant to you.

The following information summarizes each region and chart data generated during the selected time interval:

Cloud-based RMM Tools
Monitor traffic to cloud-based RMM tools active in your environment. Learn which tools were observed, when traffic occurred, and how much data was transferred.
Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Session Opens
Monitor traffic over Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), which enables users to launch an RDP client to control another device running as an RDP server. Learn about the number of RDP remote connections that were initiated and received, including the number of connection errors, and when the connections occurred.
Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Clients and Servers
View which RDP servers received RDP remote connection requests and how many requests each server received. View which internal and external RDP clients initiated remote connection requests and how many requests each client initiated.
Remote Framebuffer (RFP) Session Opens
Monitor traffic over Remote Framebuffer (RFB), which is a protocol that enables RFB clients to remotely control an RFB server. Learn about the number of RFB remote connections initiated and received, including the number of connection errors, and when the connections occurred.
Remote Framebuffer (RFP) Clients and Servers
View which RFB servers received remote connection requests and how many requests each server received. View which internal and external RFB clients initiated remote connection requests and how many requests each client initiated.
